| | Re: Wood bird door knocker Hi Wayne, I drilled a small pilot hole through the woodpecker and the supports, then drill in from both sides to prevent it breaking. also I used a piece of hardwood for the pivot pieces, thinking it would take the stress a little better. I save everything, but can't imagine what I did with the original pattern. I also make mine to fit over a door bell. Wayne, I think I'm slipping a cog here. I just looked at my door knocker, and I made it all from Pine. This is getting bad.

| | Re: Wood bird door knocker Great job, he looks like he is really waiting to get in. Wayne,I wouldn't want Santa hanging around all year. Once a year is bad enough. It might give my wife the idea to shop all year. |

Had not thought of that
Maybe not a good idea to have a Santa door knocker
Mike
You figure out that Black bear
I would like to have a pattern for that myself
You must live near the great Smokey Mountains
or Applacian Mountains
I can trace the pattern on the wood and cut it out
designing something new or drawing something new is beyond me | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
