Default Re: Wolf Walking Sticks

Thanks everyone for all the great comments!

The sticks were both done about 7 months ago in a class I took last year during the summer in Michigan my teacher helped a great deal on the first wolf the one on the left, the second one I did 98% on my own including the painting. All the painting on both was done with acrylic paint the paste type that you squeeze out and add water. The eyes of the one on the left was gold paint and I believe a very small amount of green added then black for the pupil and a white dot. Eyes of the one on the right is gold then a black pupil and white dot. A day or two after the paint was completely dry I put a small dab of clear nail polish on the eyes and then a few days later I sprayed the complete sticks with satin polyurethane. In this class everyone that painted did it all in one setting meaning using a hair dryer and going to next color.
