Default Whale carving finished

I put up a couple photos of my finished whale; this little digital doesn't give very good color representation. I'll get a couple with the 35 and get them up in a couple weeks, but in the meantime, you can get the idea.

Hi just looked at the whale. Looks great. Currently working on a Orca and hope it turns out as good as your Sperm whale.

Denny

Actually have his site in the favorites. Man can he carve!!!!!

Another great sight is Drechslers site at www.whalecarver.com

He also has some great looking carvings and he teaches classes on whale carving also. .

Trying to find other whale carvers is hard to do, seems it is not a common thing to carve but the number is growing slowly. Not of whale carvers online or have web sites it seems but the number of people that are carving whales and other marine life seems to be growing.

Orca is now ready for painting and the humpback is ready to be carvered.

Should be a 'whale' of a time here for the next few weeks

LOL

Jeff, be sure to post a photo when you're done. I checked those sites; puts me to shame! Oh, well, that's what we work at it for!
