Milford what a fantastic carving so realistic although I have never seen a waxwing your carving has given me some insite into how they look. I admire you for taking on such a complicated carving most people would have been satisfied with one chick. BTW do you build the nest or is that a real waxwing nest. No matter an excellent carving congratulations and thanks for letting us see it.

Beautiful creation Milford..... gives the Waxwing family so much character, personality and the whole scene, reality. Very well done.

Milford, very nice piece and an excellant pose, laid out with great knowledge & experience, some of the birds you carve I haven't even heard of. I enjoy viewing your work, thanks.

Your carving is fantastic. But what really graps me is the eye flow of the composition. The way you have her perched, angled, on that long branch with the tilt of her head leads my eye right down to that delightful begging baby.

Great layout!

I like the whole thing! unique to say the least and to build the nest! I am afraid I would have checked out some trees for an abandoned nest! LOL
