Default Ward World Wildfowl Carving Competition

Anyone planning to spend the weekend with 800 bird carvers in Ocean City for the 36th Annual Ward Carving Competition?
This year they have added a "Decorative Smoothie Competition" for Waterfowl, Shorebirds and Songbirds. They have also added the Lem & Steve Ward "Contemporary Antique" division, decoys should look old by the manner in which they are carved, painted and finished (1950 or older appearance).
I can hardly wait for Saturday, we want to there for the World Division judging for Shooting Rig's in Assawoman Bay at 10 a.m. and the Benefit Auction at 3 p.m.

Sorry I missed you Phaeton... and hello again to Bob D!!!

I had a great time, and took about 250 photos... I'll put the best ones on our club site (www.BullRunCarvers.org) sometime in the near future.

Hi MDWine,

Sorry we missed you too, we got there late and when I started taking pictures my sister and the phone took off.lol

The next time we got together was during the auction, that was really good, were you there?

I'm going back tomorrow and try to do a better job with the camera.
