Default Tom Taber/Montana Taber Wood Carving

Hello all,

First of all, I am a newbie and have no wood working/wood carving experience...

With that said, I was wondering if anyone could provide me with any info on this Tom Taber piece? I recently received this carving from my father-in-law. He said he has had it for approx. 20-25 years. I am an avid hunter and love any work related to wildlife.

I am looking for any info related to value, rarity, etc. I am considering donating it to the local Ducks Unlimited chapter that I volunteer for, but definitely want to make sure we get out of it what it is worth.

Thanks all.

Show DU what you have. They should have an archive of merchandise catalogs from banquet auctions. That way, you could determine the age. Probably need some professional appraisal.
If you're looking for a charitable donation receipt from DU, you won't get one without the appraisal.
I have a few TT decoys from DU Auctions plus I've been a DU Volunteer for ages. I'd keep it.

You might look on eBay and see what they are going for.
