Default On three, a one and a two, and a ...

This little comic scene I did for my granddaughter, just as a joke. I finally got it assembled last week and finished.

Poor old kitty has fallen asleep while watching for the mice to emerg from the mouse hole, and in the mean time the little rascles have gnawed a smaller hole behind the sleeping cat and have a surprise in store for him!

The cat and mice are carved in Basswood and the cymbals are made with a wood core covered in copper. The floor and scene are just scraps of household odds and ends.

Hi Bob,

Haven't been in touch with in a while but glad to see you're still in great carving form and good humor.

Hi Bob,
Got a big kick out of this one, and it looks like the cat is going to as well.

Nice work, Bob - I can see a bat in one mouse's hands, but what is the other mouse holding?

Claude

<edit> Never mind - I looked closer and it looks like cymbals! </edit>
