Default Swan pattern

I would to carve a Swan for my wife for Christmas, but don't have a pattern to go by. Does anyone have a pattern they might be able to share?

Hello Dale,
I sure do have a couple of patterns for swans. Email me your postal address and I'll stick them in the mail tomorrow---don't have a scanner at home anymore...dcthomas@hotmail.com will do it.

Wow, Donna, you have a pattern for just about everything. It's really great how you're willing to help so many folks with patterns. Thanks from all of us. Mike

Hi Dale,
I got access to a swan carcass from Fish & Wildlife awhile ago. I shot about 300 REALLY close-up photos of various features....from head to tail to feet. If you're interested, I could burn a CD for you...just need your snail-mail addy.
I have about 300 of an adult trumpeter swan & about 200 of a trumpeter cygnet (adult sized, just juvie plumage)

Lori - aren't you the 'magician' who did the How To Make Black series?
It's wonderful to have you with us on this board. Thank you.
Please give your web site so everyone can see the things you do.

Hello all,
Thanks for the kind words, Mike. I enjoy doing that to help someone out--so many people helped me get started so it's the least I can do. Besides, I meet the nicest people (carvers) that way!

Lori--thanks sharing that info. We are so lucky to have your expert involvement here. I love your carvings!

Dale,
Did you get the pattern and was it what you wanted? If not, I'll look deeper for another.
