| | Sunflower seed Just thought you people would get a smile from my latest commission piece. Well actually it's part of one. Chickadee sitting on a stump about ready to chow on the seed. Funny thing though almost happened. I bought a bag of seeds (to use as a reference) and had a bunch sitting there on my table. Figured I might as well eat some and almost threw the carved one in my mouth! HA! Have a good one!!! Marc |

| | Re: Sunflower seed I agree Marc, it does look like the real thing. Good job. I'm curious, how the heck did you hold that thing while carving it?

| | Re: Sunflower seed Carved most of it still attached to the longer piece of wood I carved it from. Then carved it down to a little nub still holding it on and cut it off and finished it. |
