Default Stylized Buffalo from a Maple Burl

Just finished this piece, Stylized Buffalo carved from a Maple Burl, and a Granite base.

Very interesting. How did you make the horn? add on? or just a different finish perhaps. Whatever you did, it was very effective. I like the way you mounted it on granite too.

The back of the piece is unfinished.

This piece is 24" long 16" high and 16" deep.
with the granite base it weighs about 75#
I think I'll try something smaller next time.
