Default Some more songbirds

Here are some songbirds I have been working on for the ARTS DAY AT THE CAPITOL 2009 in Charleston W. Va. on 3/24/09 This show is for all types of arts and craftpersons held each year in March.

please tell us that this is several years worth of work-- id never get that much done between shows--

very nice-- im in a show this weekend and the judge is bob monroe of ks-- hes a bird carver-- im sure that you would do well.

Hi Paul, that is absolutely beautiful work. I agree with Christina, they do look like they could up and fly away, they're so realistic! Gives me something to aim for with my songbird work. Thanks for sharing, and for the inspiration.

One thing for sure about this up coming show? You sure are not a craftsman with the excellent job you did on all of theses birds! You are a skilled carver with alot of talent!! Just beautifull work!!

chuckbolton, the Kestrel I did sometime last fall, the others I have been working on the last two months. Since I retired I get to spend a lot of time in my shop as long as I get the wife's honey-do list half way caught up. I dont think I could get it all the way caught up.
