Default Smoothie Duck

Carved this duck from butternut, seen a ceramic one in a shop, and thought it might be fun to do. Something different.

Hey carvnman, that is the word I've been looking for STYLIZED, Its fun to do something different once in awhile. Spent the whole morning getting ready to carve an owl. Even a simple mount and straight forward carving take so much time, mount and base, pattern, as I'm sure your quite familiar with. Carving something simple like the smoothie duck is food for the soul. Grin.
thanks folks for the reply to my smoothie duck.

A good friend remarked about the duck, "Well Hugh I don't know what to think about that Duck", but I would like to have the pattern to make one. Grin, thats about my own feelings, it just kind of grows on ya. Good conversation piece or a coffee table duck. There are coffee table books, so why not a coffee table duck. LOL
