 Simply had to do it !!!! My friend Desmond has a beautiful Husky. He also had a few old seasoned logs of poplar stacked in his backyard. He asked and I just could'nt refuse.  Last edited by Muscade : 02-06-2006 at 11:16 PM.  |

| Re: Simply had to do it !!!! Hi Nancy-CA, The head and base are one-piece carved out full size out of the poplar log. Eyes are painted and lacquered for a gloss effect. The name is cut-out from a basswood strip and glued on. Muscade |

This piece will most probably be entered in the Ottawa Woodshow (Ottawa Ont.) carving competition next November as I was suggested to do so by some of my friends. Muscade. |
