| I would like to thank all of you for the positive encouragement on the duck carving, I think I've finally found a type of carving I can do while I'm trying to improve my painting skills. Nancy's word for the carving is "simplicity" and that works for me, very little detail in Duck and the color was easy so this type of carving has moved to the top of my preferred list with the help of the comments you have all made. It takes a while for the final look of the carving to sink in because all of the wip images (when it looked like crap) are still fresh in my mind. Thanks again Warm Regards Bill ^v^ |
