Default Sea Bird

This is supposed to be a stylized albatross flying near the sea while looking for something to eat. The total height is 11 inches, and the base is roughly 2.5 inches square. Carved from walnut, finished with a clear Minwax sealer and light coat of wax. My first attempt at a stylized bird. Comments always welcome, especially from the bird carvers.

Claude

Very good Claude. I especially like the view from "head on" (1st picture). I have not done many stylized birds; but, do love to see them. That black walnut must look very nice up close.
