Default Screaming Eagle

Yep another Eagle. I'm going to do them till I get it right. Got the Pattern awhile back from WCI Mag. and put it on my to do list and finally got around to it. Made from Basswood with a Walnut Base. Had a title engraved at a local Trophy shop. It sparked my interest and got me back into carving again. Was a Fun project, your comments are always welcome and encouraged. Merle

Nice piece! Do you have Floyd Sholz's book, Birds of Prey? There are excellent closeup photos of an eagle in the same position. I see a few details around the beak that could be improved by looking at good photos.
