Good job! You have captured the essence of the ruby throats. Aren't they a great bird?! A couple of suggestions
review your reference and note a black or dark streak by the eye. Note also that the base of he bill should be a little smaller and has some characteristic indentions and the tip of the bill could be a little thinner. Overall you have done well...keep it up. Thanks for posting. Dick

The wings of the flying bird are great. They have a nice sence of motion to them.

very niice piece I want to try a humming bird one of these days but still haven't.guess I need to get off the pot and just do it.
