Default Rosewood bird by K E. Carl 1977

Can anyone tell me anything about a rosewood carved bird on a small piece of wood. It is signed K. E. Carl. I just purchased it at an auction and I know nothing about it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Chickadee,
It looks as though none of us have an answer for you. I didn't want you to think you are being ignored. I did try to google the name and nothing about carving came up. If you bought it at auction or in a shop try asking around that community as it may have just been someone local who carved it and the name might ring a bell with somebody there. Maybe a local carving group would know. There are thousands of carvers around the country and it's pretty hard to track down an individual unless they have made a name for themselves at carving. Good luck in your search.
