Bird bird is basswod .I used a reworked Mulematt pattern. The head and body is 1 piece I didnt carve a separeate hed and turn it its turned in the block.Delise feet .5mm glass eye br I think .I paint in acrylic washes see Lori Corbitts book on painting technique.I dont use gesso I burn light .Base oval is a craft store special 5 bucks I think I believe it was basswood I stained walnut.I dont do many non duck birds but if these sell I may do more.
