a summer visitor to our shores...(uk), this is a very smart bird ,one that i look forward to seeing every year...carved in lime, painted with acrylic paints, leaves made out of paper, branch made out of car body filler & wire...mark

Wow - the bird is wonderful.... absolutely wonderful.
I find his perch/branch almost magic. Just THINKING of such a perch seems impossible to me - never mind making it.

Could you tell us in detail how you do that? (I know you can't explain how you think of it )

Very nicely done Mark, I really like the planning that went into the habitat, which worked out beautifully. Really like the look that your getting with your carvings.
