They live in central Africa. I had a hard time finding reference
for these birds.
I did the feathering with a wood burner.

Fat chance of that here in chilly Pennsylvania, he'd be freezing his little birdie behind off! If one ever comes to United States it will probably be at Hi Ho's bird feeder! Wonderful carving I just love him so much color and great detail. I always admire bird carvers that is probably because I dont have the patience to carve one.
