Great work Nancy! On both pieces! The detail is superb and the "expression" on the Red River Hog" is curious! Looks like he's just learned where bacon comes from!

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. I do think he is more "cute" than realistic but I saw that as soon as I did the eyes and the face was a bit fuller than a real red river hog, but I liked the expression so chose to keep him that way. I like him cute I am going to send him and the Elk on to the Congress show, see how they do.

Thanks Jeff I didn't get the marbling thing done like yours but I think it looks okay. Your's is so real looking, maybe on my next one I'll give it another try.
