Lori Corbetts book has great information on the Red Breasted Nuthatch. They are a very tiny bird, about 4 in long. |

| | Re: red brested nuthatch hello murray,here is a lifesize pattern of a nuthatch,the right wing is the top view,left is bottom,body is 4 and 1 quarter inch long,wing is 3 and a half inches long,hope this will help,milford.

I would recommend it highly for anyone looking to do red breasted nut hatches. Have you checked out her new site BTW? She has a whole section on carving and painting the nut hatch.
