I find the books on teaching you to draw animals very useful when carving animals, Grandma Teddy. I have two of Fox Chapels, "Drawing Wildlife" by J.C. Amberlyn and "How To Draw Animals" by Jack Hamm. Both have great drawings on various animals and great perspectives. They teach you just what a carver needs to pay attention to as well, basic shape and surface details. Bob
