cory,

iv carved several of tom wolf dogs, and found if you work the shoulders some you can make them appear to be right if you alternate the legs that have weight on them,
in the gallery of tom wolf goes to the dogs there is a picture of a black and tan dog that appears to be really scatting it out of there, front legs inside but behind rear paws,
i tried to carve that one, try it,, totally confusing,

Hi Tom, that is one of the dogs in his Goes To The Dogs book. That looks like a difficult carve. I did carve one with alternating legs and it seems to look ok but as you can see in the headless horsemen post, it has other problems.
