Aaron, very nice bird. Nice shape and a soft paint job. Clean and bright. Fit for a king. !!!!

Hi Aaron.

Great bird both technique-wise and artistically. Very nice positioning with the head!

Hi Aaron,

Wow! At first I thought it was a painting, then I looked closely and saw it is indeed a carving, and a beautifully done one at that. The paint is done to prefection. It may have taken a while but it was definitely worth it.

Makes me want to carve birds. Actually, I'm seriously thinking about it. Thanks to bird carvers like you.

Good job on the grebe Aaron. I've been planning to do one for a while now and you got me motivated. Keep up the good work.

Aaron, fantastic job on the bird. The feathers have such a soft look to them and the pose is great! Excellent work. Bird carver

Thanks for all the kind words! I really enjoyed doing it. Just wish I was a lot closer to retirement so I could do it full time!

Thanks again,
Aaron
