 Re: Newfoundland Dog Ya...use a really big piece of wood!!! Those dogs are gigantic!!!! Google for pictures of the dog, and a nice setting for a relief carving might be of the dog sitting in a dory or on the dock. They were originally rescue dogs for Newfoundland fishermen, perfect breed for those cold conditions and they love the water. Even considering their size, they make great pets, as they are true gentle giants with kids. Bob

| Re: Newfoundland Dog Congratulations!!! That's super Bambi, I hope you are prepared for it!  I will be looking forward to seeing pictures for sure! Are you getting a male or female? Those gentle giants make a house a home real fast! Consider burning an image of her/him too! Burnings do a super job on dogs, I love the one I did on my dog. Still haven't finished the carving I began of her yet, but someday. Too many other things drawing my attention. Bob
