Newbie question on fish decoys (spearing) Hi,
I'm carving my first fish decoy it will be a working decoy to use in a dark house. I'm wonder what the best way to get the metel fins in the side? these are the ones to stabilize the fins to allow it to "glide" thought the water Can you tap them in with a hammer? I'm planning to use a piece of galvanized sheet metel left over from my duct work. ...Also what do you use to melt the lead to add weight? (I've done it before with a stainless steel ladle and a butain torch.) but wonder if there is an easier way...
thanks for any help
