Lori that is really super. It has always been a real problem for me, painting white. You might find my tracks on that site for some time to come. Hope everyone knows about your new book. A couple of people in my carving class are waiting for your book also. Hugh

Wow! Thanks Lori for sharing your expertise. I wanna be a bird carver when I "grow up" so your hints are so valuable. I have much to learn about doing birds and I don't know of anyone who does it better than you.Thank you for taking the time to do this for us.

Lori, Thanks very much, have never done birds yet, but went through the demos and really learned some neat thing that I can easily apply to my future carving steps and painting techniques. Thanks so much for some new direction. Love your carvings too, beautiful work.

Lori, have your latest book on order. Hope most of the info on your demo is in there. Thanks, especially for the idea of painting swatches using the paste on dots. Looking over your demo and examining my paint tubes is the first time I have become fully aware of the difference in paints using even the same common name. Paint swatches with the info on them of pigment, name brand, etc. will help those of us who still aspire to doing a fairly decent job of painting our carvings.
