 New here! Just started to learn to carve this is my second carving it is white cedar and glass eyes the body hasnt been started yet im still waiting on a band saw i carved this head with only a dremel and learned that i really need to purchases one so for now im only doing heads my biggest issue so far is laying out the pattern i cant lay it out properly due to the lack of a saw but i have been improvising and basically drawing it out free hand but it really doesnt work because the proportions are thrown off and the pattern becomes stretched sort of like trying to put a square peg into a round hole if you know what i mean Mike  [/IMG] |
