Default New Artist Found

I just got back from spending a week at Tesomas Scout Camp, near Rhinelander, Wisconsin, and while there saw and photo'd an Eagle Sculpture done in a dying (now dead) red pine. The Sculptor is Nathan Nuszkiewicz of Rhinelander. Nathan is now preparing to carve a totem pole into the remaining standing trunk of the pine. He showed up just as we were leaving, but I managed to get a picture of him, his card, and permission to post these pics. I tried to put them in the gallery, but couldn't get them to up load...hope I can get them here! Nathan has numerous carvings in dead trees around the north central Wisconsin area, and is locally known as one of the premier chainsaw carvers in the surrounding country side.

Well, looks like I can't upload them here either. I'll put them on another site and link it a little later.

OK, here's the link to my Webshots Page......scroll all the way down to the bottom for Nathan's work!

Default Re: New Artist

I pulled this post earlier because I used Nathan's business card to ID him, but thought later that this might be a bit too commercial. Once I figured out how to remove the card, I put the post back up. The eagle is extremely detailed, but doesn't really show in the photo because its up on top of a 20 foot tall stump! I'll try to get the other three photos back on site
