Default Need a pattern

I am looking for a full size Bohemian Waxwing pattern for a competition bird next September. Any thoughts where I might find a pattern? I have checked Stiller's Patterns; they don't have one.

It is not too early to get going on this, in case I need to do more than one to get it right!

Have you had a look on the RSPB website? They have bird plates on there that might do the job for you. The RSPB

The measurements are from ringing books, so the tail is full size, you will need to find the size from end of wing-tips....mark.

Thanks twitcher and Hugh for your responses to my request. I overlooked the pattern in Sugar Pine's catalog because it is listed under Japanese Song Birds. I had forgotten that the Bohemian Waxwing has a very large global range, unlike our more common Cedar Waxwing here in North America. I'll give the pattern and cutouts from Sugar Pine a try.

Thanks again.

As a follow up on my request about a Bohemian Waxwing pattern, I looked at the on-line catalog for Razertip Industries at Pyrography, wood burning tools and equipment - Razertip.. They have an extensive list of carving tools, patterns, books, and wood burning tools. They have quite a few patterns, including the Bohemian Waxwing, carving notes, and reference photos for this species. It is well worth checking out for your carving needs. You can request a free hard copy catolog through the web site.
