Need Crow Dimensions for 3-D carving

Hi...I am a wood carver having a difficult time finding the dimensions for a crow. I can find the wing span, I can find the weight. Can anyone help me with dimensions...this will be viewable and accurate from all sides and will not hang on a wall.

I was looking back over this posting and realized that I should answer a question that I had responded to via email. So here it is........

I tried to find some body measurements for crows. No success. But then, this is true of most of the birds I carve.

I do a lot of bird carving and I would not worry too much about the body size on your crow. If I were to find the body size it would probably not be a figure that would be very useful to woodcarvers. Since it would be with feathers pulled tight against the body or the bird in an unrealistic position. For the carver this mesurement is very dependent on how the wings are held, the position of the bird and on how much the feathers are fluffed out.

When carving a bird I use measurements (that fall within the realistic range) and position the head, tail, wings and feet. Then allow the body to fall into a realistic position without worrying about the measurement for this portion.
