My Fox

Hello Folks. It takes me a long time to finish projects. This is a project that my good friend Joe helped me with. He is very talented and gave me direction as I worked on this fox. I wanted to share him with you since I don't get too many carvings finished.

The wood is cherry. I'm not crazy about the spray satin finish on him and wished I would have worked in wax instead but he is what he is.

I love him now and hope you like him also. Thanks to everyone that shares their carvings and tips with all of us. That's what inspires me to keep on practicing to be a carver. Best regards to all and safe carving. Paul

I like him! Carved from one piece of Cherry? Looks that way. Always nice to finish a piece so you can share it and admire it yourself. And then... get on with the next one. ;-)
