im thinking of carving some fish, my family and folks here are bored with my santas and cowboys, they can all recognize a good fish though... but i can here it now, why didnt you carve up a mess of them for me....

| | Re: My Fish I think a nice piece of driftwood would fit the sunfish really nice. Not to big a piece of driftwood so it over powers the fish, but just adds to it. Then hang it on the wall. Or...... Make a base and a few rocks or weeds and attach the fish to that and set it on a table or bookcase or fireplace mantle. It is of the 2007 World Fish Carving Championships at Reno, NV this past April and you will see lots of bases. You might find one that you like.

| | Re: My Fish I made a 1" triangle pattern on heavy paper and put it in with a Pilot extra fine ball point pen, the fine pen indented the wood. Skip
