Default My First White Tail Deer wood carving Ever Just thought I would share it with every o

Just thought .I would share my First White Tail Deer wood Carving ever. it isnt done yet .I still need to put the eyes on it and paint it . I am very very Happy with it . Hope you all like it. it is 12" long what .I did to make the antlers is. I used wire and apoxie they to will be painted .

John-Waiting for the paint,what you have looks very good. Yea the antlers can be very hard to carve out of basswood.

since .I posted my first post. I took the rest of the day painting the white Tail Deer Wood Carving. I am a Full time Taxidermist and use the air Brush a lot so. I put it to the test once more LOL .I Hope you all like it. I do Have to redo 1 of the eyes. But tried to stay light with the paint since you can over do it real fast with an air brush. I am once more very Happy with the out come
