Default My first try at carving. Don't laugh to hard

This is my first try. Don't laugh too hard. I wish it would have shown better in the pic. Tomorrow when the sun is up again I will repost a pic. I liked how the color turned out on the body. the fins not so much. I guess that is what practice is for.

I hope the next one turns out better.

Very nice carving,love the paint job, also. Juat keep at it and y9u can improve with every carving.

Hey Mytyre, you gotta be kidding us, if'n that's yer first carvin, mister, yer gonna be some kinda competition for the big boys around here. Heck, I've been carvin for 6 or 7 months and couldn't get close to that one. Good for you, keep carvin and keep postin pictures, we love 'em.
