Default Looking for inspiration

Ready to carve a welcome sign for our Vermont wilderness cabin. We're thinking of a black bear w/cub scene, but can't really settle on a pose & view. The welcome sign will be approx 18x24.

Any suggestions or great photos you can share?

thanks

I picture a bear cub half way up a tree with it's mother standing on her hind legs right below.

Hi Ripton!!

Just went looking for pictures of A mother black bear with her cubs and found the following pictures and paintings. I really like the second one. I feel it has more character and depth to it.

Those are great, Patty!

If you want even more, got to Google.com, and enter "mother bear and cubs", then when the new page comes up, click on Images in the upper left corner.

thanks all. I think we have it. A relief of our cabin with the cub scratching up the front porch post, with the Sow either sitting or standing on the walkway watching... Will post a sketch when I get it drawn up...
