I see this is your first posting. Welcome--we're glad you're joining us. Give us a few minutes (days) and I know you'll hear from some good carver with a good pattern. I know I have some, but will have to go through the search. You might do an article search in all past Wood Carving Illustrated magazines on this board -- just to see if a lab has been in some past issue.

Anyway, we're so glad to welcome you. Good luck with finding a pattern.

Thank you for the Welcome. Appreciate it. I just started woodcraving (have 1 carving under my belt now hehe...) and started because my son was taking it and it looked fun. I think I'm hooked as well as he is now!

As a wise carver told me, try a "Google" search, you are bound to fine pictures suitable for a pattern.

I don't have a pattern but I do have some reference material that may help with your project. I bought a lab sculpture to use as reference for a Christmas carving for my sister last year but I ran out of time and ended up giving her the sculpture instead but I took a few pictures to use if I ever get back to it.

Here is what I have in my reference folder.
