Default Lion and dolphin

My first two animal carvings.
I believe the lion was the 3rd thing I've ever carved and I am very happy with it sans color.
Turns out comic inking pens don't make for good wood coloring.

The Dolphin turned out great until I realized the dorsal fin was off kilter.
I ended up sticking a white metal road through the belly and mounting it to a wood oval so it could sit 5ish inches off a desk as if swimming.

The lion is my favorite piece so far. I hope the tiger I'm doing comes out as well.
It will be my first piece roughed out with a band saw, it was a little shocking how much work it saves using the band saw.
