Both are fantastic!!! I am partial to Buffleheads but I don't think I could pick one over the other, beautiful job!

Nice work, I like the feathering on the Ruddy.
What is the wood? Power carved or knives?

I like the painting on the tail of the Buffelhead. Well, I like them both, but that really caught my eye.

Bob, I use basswood from Minn, but last from Henikee, most work is knife& shew chisel, but I use rotary on the soft feathers on the sides, rump & breast. Thanks to all for the nice remarks!! Merry Christmas .
