Default a Humming Bird

Thoughts Id try to carve a humming bird seeing my wife loves them. Its 3 1/2 inches from the tip of its beak to the tip of its tail,2 1/2 inches from its belly to tip of its wings. I see alot wrong with it,next one I will try to improve. I dont carve alot of birds.

Your thoughts are welcome,Forrest

Very nice!! I love those little critters, and you have done an excellent job in carving and painting. I like your base you mounted him on to, what kind of wood is the base?
