Question Help! Identification needed

On finishing some pieces, of a friend (Louis) who passed away, I came upon a carving block. I was unable to identify some of the miniature duck heads.

I think the first is a hooded merganser?

I agree that #1 could be a meranser. #4 seems like a Bufflehead. you might also want to look up a Widgeon as well. Try Cornell's allaboutbirds.org.

Thanks Aix. I was also thinking #4 could be a Golden eye but maybe it might be a Buffelhead. Could #3 be a Fulvous Whistling-Duck? I have been looking at head shots of Northern American ducks in books and on the internet and can't find ones with these characteristic.
