Default half scale avocet legs

This is my first post. I have been carving many years but now only a few things a year.
I have carved a half scale avocet and since it is not a competition bird I would like to
put store legs on the bird. Does anyone have a idea for metal legs that would come close to the 1/2 scale legs. Thanks for any help.

How about something like a Spotted Sandpiper? My on-the-highway (wife driving us at the moment) mental comparison tells me that the Sandpiper should be pretty close to half the size of an Avocet. Might be able to do a bit of on-line research to verify - or not.

The avocet has webbed feet whereas the sandpipers do not. A fairly close match for half size would be the greater yellowlegs, but these are semi-palmated.
Don't know if these are available as precasts. Perhaps now is a good time to practice making your own feet. Another option is to make it a stick decoy and mount it with a dowel on a piece of driftwood.
Whatever you opt for, show us some pics when done

Or you could take pre-cast feet/legs and using two part epoxy ribbon (blue/yellow makes green) form the webbing between toes. When I make webbed feet from scratch, I solder the wire, then shape the epoxy over it so that only the toenails stick out. Texturing can be done to the epoxy while it's still soft. Just a thought...
