Default (Great Horned Owl) finished!

Hello again everyone I finally finished the owl, here are some pictures of the finished product. Hope you like them, The next bird will be a Green heron.

Well Bird Carver your owl is a great looking bird, I thought it would be. The Heron should be a challenge. Will you do it full size? Skip

Wow, you can certainly be proud of your finished Owl...... great job. Many people do not realize that bird carving is difficult to the extreme. I used to know a carver who could only manage to complete a couple of feathers in a days work. He put so much detail into the piece that it looked like it would breath on it's own when he finished it. My hat is off to all bird carvers. That is the ultimate in carving.
