Almost missed that one Dave I dont come to this album very much I am one of these 'Would love to be a bird carver' guys.At any rate you did a supurb job is this what I am going to recieve in the ornament swap this year?

Hi Dave,
I love the heron. You've done an outstanding job on it. Beside the outstanding GBH, I love the inserts and the mounting too. Fantastic carving. Looks like lots of hard work!

Not to keep flogging a dead horse.....err heron....but I just put pictures on my picture trail of the heron with the water in place.....really makes a difference! Â*It is DONE...do you believe it? Yes Al you CAN do the puffin! ha ha

Nice work, Dave....really looks great! Oh, ya the puffin....I been puffin' all morning building bunks to set the boat on in the garage for the winter. Snow in the air this morning....aaaarrrrgggghhhh! Still hoping to get out for some steelhead and salmon this fall, but it ain't lookin' good! NW to NE winds up to 30 MPH, doesn't make for good fishing. Want to get some fresh photos for reference..gotta get carving again.

Oh, Golly Gee , wow ,that Heron is fantastic Dave.. We love him... What a lot of hard work but what beautiful results.
We love the base he is in and everything looks so real.. Look out, everyone will want him! We are so proud of our adopted son... Curtis and Charlotte
