Default A fun Fish carving

Hey All,

This is my attempt at one of the bluetooth carvings by Tom Ellis. Tom gave me permission to carve this, but now that he has the opportunity to see it he may not give me permission to attempt any more of his carvings. This is for one of our customers from work. Carved from basswood, painted in acrylics. Thanks for looking and as always any and all comments are welcome.

Safe Carving and God Bless,

Mark

Wink Re: A fun Fish carving

I caught a fish like this once, and do you know what??....??? To put it out of its misery, i had to hit both me and my father on our heads! That's not all, we had just started fishing. When we came to, it was night, the fish was gone, but there was a note in the bucket.....
'It's not the size of the fish in the fight, nor the size of the fight in the fish, it goes a lot deeper than that.... It's about the size of the fight and the fish in the lie, that keeps em coming back for more!..... P.S.- I ate all the worms in your bucket and swept all the ticks into your waders... Love, the one that got away!'
Excellent Job!!! I truly hope i didn't jinx my spring! I'll get that son of a gun!
Sincerely, Rob Vega (Lazy Carver)

Al,

That is exactly what he is. This guy is a really good guy and I did a couple of fish for him before, but nothing like this. He should get a kick out of it.

Safe Carving and God Bless,

Mark
