I posted awhile back about a frog pattern and was unable to get any info at all, no one has any books on the subject either. I talked to Kathy Hart about the possibility in a future magazine about doing a frog carving (bullfrog) and didn't really get an answer. The thread was under butterflies and bullfrogs, its been a few month's ago, around may or june. I hope you have better luck than me on finding a pattern. |

| | Re: Frog pattern Let me rephrase, I did get some information on how to do bumps in wood by denting the wood and put water on it to raise the grain and I did get a pattern from Stiller but did not find any info or books on the shades of colors on the frogs. I did talk to Kathy about future articles on butterflies and bullfrogs. Sorry about the confusion. |

| | Re: Frog pattern I might could draw you one, but I don't know if I can use the paint program to do it justice. I do have a scanner - that may be a new trick for me to learn (well, I lied - my WIFE has a scanner; that's why I don't know how to use it). I still haven't learned the best way to download pictures for eventual use on this board.
Anyway, Bob, if you get desperate, let me know. My frog will be a caricature (of course) - however I CAN do a life-like frog also. Better yet, I can have my brother draw one - he's a professional artist. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
