Hello. I think your carvings look really good. What kind of wood is the fish? I like the paint job on the chickadee and the way you have it displayed. How did you get the swirling in the feathers on the chickadee? Thank you for sharing. Paul

Good work. The fish looks good. Are you going to put into a scene? Really good job on the bird. It makes a nice little scene.

Your first showing is very nice,I like the paint job also painting for me s very hard but looks like you have it down pretty well. again nice job keep up the good work amd keep posting.Gary

The fish is poplar, soft enough for knife work. All the feather work was burned which worked well in spots.

The fish has a hanger to go on the wall. I had thought about mounting it on a darker stained flat peice of poplar but I am saving that for my next one.
