| | Re: finished merganser Thanks Ron. I combined the TM pattern and some ideas I'd seen on an old deke in Guyette & Schmitt or the like for the "shoulders". I appreciate your comments. Thanks for looking!

| | Re: finished merganser Thank you too, Joy. A little burnt umber wash, a little 60 grit, a deck screw held sideways for some scrapes, and some amber shellac for patina... It's a little scarey to do after finishing the carving and the "good" painting, but kinda fun, too. Thanks for the nice words.
